Good to know

No Vrbo service fee. Vrbo adds its own guest service fee at checkout; here there is none, and the price you see already includes the cleaning fee and the Hawaii and Maui County taxes. You book with Bob & Tracy, who own and look after both condos.

At Napili Point Resort, 5295 Lower Honoapiilani Road, on the lava point at the south end of Napili Bay in West Maui. The ocean wraps around the resort on two sides; Napili Bay’s beach is less than half a mile north, and Kapalua just beyond it.

Fly into Kahului (OGG) on Maui; Napili is about an hour by car along the Honoapiilani Highway, and a rental car is the easy way to explore the island. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM (Hawaii time), and your arrival details come before you travel.

Yes, two. Napili Point Resort has two oceanfront pools, an oceanfront lawn and barbecues for the guests of the resort. Each condo’s own amenity list, straight from Vrbo, is on its page.

December to April is whale season, with humpbacks in the channel right in front of the condos. Spring and fall are quieter, and the summer months bring the calmest seas on this side of the island — the best snorkelling at Honolua Bay. Winter weeks book first.

A2 and A5 each sleep 3 — book both for up to six, with the two condos side by side at the same resort. No pets, no parties and no smoking.
